Is my IELTS test cancelled?
Covid19 cases are evolving very quickly. The tests may get suspended at a very short notice. It is always better to communicate through your test center via email.
As per the official regulations, IELTS has been suspended in various locations. Countries where there are higher cases of covid19, IELTS is suspended. And in the countries where there are not many cases and where the government allows, the IELTS is running smoothly (Of course, by taking all necessary safety precautions to protect the test takers and the IELTS staff from the coronavirus).
Can I expect to get a refund if my test has been cancelled?
If you want a refund, you can get it. Usually, the IELTS committee may take about 2-3 weeks to refund the amount. And in some cases, the committee may take up to 5 weeks to process the refund.
How can I contact my IELTS test center?
If you have booked IELTS through British Council, you can check out this page:
https://takeielts.britishcouncil.org/contact
You can search for your test center. You can find all the details. Address, email to contact, etc. You can send an email and get the information on your IELTS.
Similarly, you can check IDP IELTS test centers if you have booked through IDP.
You must have also received an email with the information about your test center after booking the test. You can check the email. That will carry information about the test center as well.
I have not received any response from the test center? What am I expected to do now?
Due to Covid19, IELTS test centers are experiencing higher volumes of calls or emails. There can be some delay in responses. But, the test centers certainly get back to you. However, if you have not received any response you can fill out this form (https://takeielts.britishcouncil.org/contact/form), applicable for candidates who have booked through British Council.

What is the earliest date available for IELTS in the month of May?
21 May 2020 can be the earliest available date. But, it is not certain. It may change depending upon the situation or the government directives.
